Union AYUSH Minister Sarbananda Sonowal announced that 6 new Ayush hospitals will be set up in Assam. Inaugurating a 50 bedded Ayush hospital at Majuli today, Mr. Sonowal said that four 50 bedded hospitals will come up in Kaliabor, Morigaon, Kokrajhar, and Baksa, while one 30 bedded hospital will be set up at Diphu. Union AYUSH minister Sarbananda Sonowal said that his ministry has distributed nearly 83 lakh saplings of medicinal plants under the Ayush Aapke Dwar campaign.
