Super Typhoon Yagi Strikes Northern Vietnam After Devastating Hainan

This year's most powerful storm, Super Typhoon Yagi made a landfall in northern Vietnam today after wreaking havoc in the Southern Chinese island province of Hainan. Two people lost their lives in Vietnam while in China's Hainan two persons were reportedly killed and dozens injured.  The typhoon hit island districts of north Vietnam in the afternoon today and generated winds of up to 160 kilometre per hour near its centre.
