Assam: Over 2.44 lakh cases filed against D voters in Foreigner Tribunals, says CM Himanta Biswa Sarma

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, there are 99 thousand 942 Doubtful or D voters in the State. In a reply to a question in assembly today, he said that so far over two lakh 44 thousand cases were filed against the D voters in Foreigner Tribunals. The Chief Minister further said that out of the total cases, over one lakh 47 thousand cases have been resolved.
