Results declared for by-elections to seven assembly constituencies spread over six states

Results have been declared for by-elections to seven assembly constituencies spread over six states. Bypolls to the assembly seats were held on Tuesday. The seats are Boxanagar and Dhanpur in Tripura, Dhupguri in West Bengal, Dumri in Jharkhand, Bageshwar in Uttarakhand, Puthuppally in Kerala and Ghosi in Uttar Pradesh.   In Tripura, both Boxanagar and Dhanpur Assesmbly seats have been wrested by BJP.
