BJP announces Sadanand Shet Tanavade for Rajya Sabha election from Goa

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today announced Goa BJP president Sadanand Shet Tanavade as the party’s candidate for the lone Rajya Sabha seat from Goa for the upcoming Rajya Sabha election. The Election Commission of India (ECI) had announced the schedule for Rajya Sabha polls in Goa. The polling and counting of votes is scheduled to take place on July 24.
