Punjab: Gurdaspur admin suspends visit of pilgrims to Kartarpur Sahib in Pakistan due to rising water level of Ravi River

In Punjab, the Gurdaspur district administration has suspended the visit of pilgrims to Gurdwara Shri Kartarpur Sahib in Pakistan via Shri Kartarpur Sahib Corridor for the next three days. The step has been taken due to the rising water level of the Ravi River that has inundated the Zero Line at Dera Baba Nanak in Gurdaspur district.   In this border area, the Ravi River is currently in full spate on both sides of India and Pakistan.
