Punjab: Flood fury continues unabated

In Punjab, the flood situation in Gurdaspur, TarnTaran, Ferozepur, Fazilka, Hoshiarpur, Rupnagar and Kapurthala districts continues unabated. Several more villages in the border district of Fazilka have been submerged in flood water. As the flood water touched the Kalanwali bridge in this district, the normal traffic has been stopped as a precautionary measure.
