President Murmu grants assent to National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, Digital Personal Data Protection Bill

President Droupadi Murmu has granted assent to the Digital Personal Data Protection Bill, 2023 (DPDP Bill) after it was passed by both Houses of Parliament. The DPDP Bill was passed unanimously by Rajya Sabha on the 9th of August while Lok Sabha passed the Bill on the 7th of August by voice vote.
