Polling underway smoothly for 5th LAHDC Kargil Election

In Ladakh, after the Abrogation of Article 370, the first election in UT Ladakh, Polling for the 5th LAHDC Kargil Election is underway smoothly. Voting began at 8 in the morning with people waiting in queues since early morning. 40.31 per cent voter turnout was reported till 11 am. The fate of 87 candidates trying their luck for 26 constituencies will be locked in M2 Type EVM Machines.
