Parliamentary panel recommends special attention to be given to jailed pregnant women

A Parliamentary panel recommended that special attention should be given to the jailed pregnant women. It is in line with a Supreme Court judgment in which it was observed that a jail must have adequate facilities for prenatal and postnatal care for female prisoners as well as their children.
