Normal life thrown out of gear as rain mayhem continues in several parts of country; Rivers in UP, Delhi-NCR in spate

The water level of the Yamuna River in Delhi has once again breached the danger mark. At five p.m. today, the water level at the river stood over 206.32 meters. The rise in water level is due to the discharge from the Hathnikund barrage in Haryana following heavy rain in parts of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.   Delhi Revenue Minister Atishi said, the government is on a high alert.
