Ministry of Mines has generated over 17 crore rupees revenue by disposing of scrap and weeded out about 27 hundred files from November last year till August this year. Overall Mineral Production increases by 6.4 % in May this year as compared to May last year

Ministry of Mines today said that overall Mineral Production has increased by 6.4 percent in May this year as compared to May last year. As per the provisional figures of Indian Bureau of Mines, the cumulative growth for the period April-May, 2022-23 over the corresponding period of the previous year is 5.8 per cent.
