Maldives to go to polls tomorrow to elect a new president

Maldives is headed for the Presidential Elections tomorrow.   Akashvani correspondent reports that Maldives is headed for Presidential Elections tomorrow in which eight candidates are in the fray including incumbent President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih. The Alliance of Maldivian Democratic Party from which Mr. Solih is contesting had won the popular vote with 58 percent in 2018.
