Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar today said that a high-level inquiry has been ordered into the lathi charge incident that took place at Antarvali Sarathi village in Ambad tehsil of Jalna district yesterday. The incident occurred after a protest demanding reservation for the Maratha community turned violent. He said strict action will be taken against the guilty policemen.
