In Jammu and Kashmir, an Army personnel was injured in a landmine explosion near the Line of Control in Poonch district today. The soldier suffered injury when the landmine got activated after he accidentally stepped over it during patrolling in a forward village in Kerni sector late Sunday night. Two mild-intensity earthquakes jolt hilly Doda district in Jammu division

In Jammu and Kashmir, tremors were felt in this early morning when two mild-intensity earthquakes jolted the hilly Doda district in Jammu division. The twin earthquakes were reported within a gap of five minutes. The first quake of 4.9 magnitude was reported at 5:38 AM while second quake of 3.6 magnitude at 5:43 AM.
