IMD Forecasts Heavy Rainfall and Squally Weather in Southern and Coastal India

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal today. According to IMD, heavy rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning is expected over Kerala, Mahe, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next 2-4 days.
