Gold prices rise by three rupees, trades at Rs 58,378/ 10 gram

Gold prices today rose by three rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for October contracts. The precious metal was trading at 58,378 rupees per 10 grams. Silver surged by 331 rupees to trade at 71,566 rupees per kilogram for September Contracts when reports last came in.   In the global markets, gold was trading up at 1,917 dollars and 30 cents per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange.
