Market Update: Sensex rises 204 pts; Nifty settles at 23,399

India's Equity Benchmark Indices ended in Green today amid mixed global cues. The Sensex rose 204 points, or 0.27 percent, to close at 76,811. Gold price up 10 rupees, to trade at 56,730 rupees per ten grams

Today, Gold was trading up at the Multi Commodity Exchange for October contracts. The precious metal was up 10 rupees, to trade at 56,730 rupees per ten grams. Silver futures for December also rose 315 rupees, to trade at 67,200 rupees per kilo when reports last came in. Ajeet Singh clinches gold medal in finals of Men’s javelin throw in Para Athletics Championships in Paris

In Para Athletics, Ajeet Singh has clinched the gold medal in the finals of the Men’s javelin throw F46 in the ongoing Championships in Paris.
