Georgia charges Former U.S. President Donald Trump with illegally trying to overturn 2020 election loss

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has been charged with a set of criminal charges in the state of Georgia. A grand jury on 14th August 2023 issued an indictment accusing him of efforts to overturn his 2020 election loss to Democrat Joe Biden.
