Bihar: FCI releases around 3 Lakh Metric tonnes of wheat this year under Domestic OMSS to curb rising prices of flour, other wheat-based products

In Bihar, the Food Corporation of India (FCI) has released around three Lakh Metric tonnes of wheat this year under Domestic Open Market Sale Scheme (OMSS) to curb rising prices of flour and other wheat-based products.  General Manager of FCI, Bihar Region Sanjeev Kumar Bhadani told media persons in Patna today that since February 2023 the corporation has made available the wheat of Fair and Average Quality (FAQ) and under Relaxed Specification (URS) category to flour producers.
