Dengue outbreak in Bangladesh signals alarming trend this year

In Bangladesh, the dengue outbreak has taken a worrisome turn. The number of vector-borne fever cases has crossed the 10000- mark and the death toll continues to rise, signaling an alarming trend this year. The tally of deaths from dengue fever rose to 62 since January this year, of whom 15 people died in the last five days only.
