Coal Ministry achieves substantial surge in overall coal production, growth of 8.40% in 1st quarter of this financial year

The Coal Ministry has achieved a substantial surge in overall coal production with a growth of 8.40 percent in the first quarter of this financial year. The cumulative coal production has witnessed a significant increase, reaching over 222 million tonne as compared to around 205 million tonne during the same period last year.
