Coal is under Open General License and consumers are free to import coal from source of their choice: Govt in RS

The government has said that all India Coal Production in 2022-23 stood at over 893 million tonne in comparison to over 565 million tonne in 2013-14 with a growth of about 58 percent. Union Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi said this in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today.
