Chhattisgarh: Special summary revision of electoral rolls starts today

As assembly elections are due this year in Chhattisgarh, a special summary revision of the electoral rolls is starting from today. Chief Electoral Officer Reena Babasaheb Kangale said that it will start with the preliminary publication of the integrated voter list. Claims and objections will be received from August 2 to August 31.   The exercise provides an opportunity for new voter registrations and making corrections on the rolls.
