Central team visits Punjab to assess damage caused by floods in the state

The seven-member Inter-Ministerial Central team on a visit to Punjab to make a ground-level assessment of the damage caused by the floods in the state, held a meeting with the Chief Secretary Anurag Verma and other officers in Chandigarh today.   Chief Secretary Anurag Verma requested the central team to give relaxation the norms of assistance to the victims to compensate them for the damage caused by the floods.
