Autumn session of Assam assembly to begin on Monday

The autumn session of the Assam assembly will begin on 11th September 2023 at Dispur. The five-day long sessions will be held in the newly constructed building. Official sources said, at least 23 bills including seven new bills are likely to be tabled in the session by various departments.   State Parliamentary Affairs minister Pijush Hazarika urged opposition parties to cooperate to peacefully run the session.
