Maharashtra: 16 people died, 21 others injured in landslide in Raigad district

Sixteen people have died and twenty-one others were injured in a landslide that occurred at Khalapur tehsil in Raigad district of Maharashtra last night. Four teams of the National Disaster Response Force were deployed in the rescue operation. The rescue operation was called off in the evening due to heavy rainfall and the threat of further landslides.
