Almost 88 percent of Rs 2,000 banknotes have been received back from circulation: RBI

The Reserve Bank of India has informed that almost 88 percent of the two thousand rupee banknotes have been received back from circulation. In a press release issued from Mumbai on Tuesday, RBI said that the total value of two thousand rupee banknotes received back from circulation till 31st July 2023 stands at 3.14 lakh crore rupees.
