In Sudan, at least 32 people were killed and 107 others were wounded due to torrential rains and floods. Sudan’s Health Ministry said, seven states are affected by the rains and floods and over five thousand five hundred homes were damaged.

Heavy rains and floods caused several watery diarrhoea cases. The Ministry is taking necessary measures to tackle the rainy season epidemics. Flooding is a yearly occurrence in Sudan, happening every year between June and October.
