In tennis, India’s Vijay Sundar Prashanth and Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan have entered the men’s doubles quarterfinals of the Stockholm Open Tennis tournament. They defeated the Swedish pair of Filip Bergevi and Erik Grevelius, 5-7, 6-2, 10-5, in a pre-quarterfinal match last evening. The star duo will next take on Petr Nouza and Patrik Rikl of Czechia in the quarterfinal tomorrow.

In the men’s singles first round, ace Indian paddler Sumit Nagal will lock horns with Quentin Halys of France this evening. The match is scheduled to begin at 4.50 PM IST.
