The Indian benchmark indices once again opened on a positive note today, with the Sensex and Nifty hitting their new all-time highs for third session in a row.

 

Foreign fund inflows and a rally in the US markets contributed to the rise in the late morning trade. The 30-share BSE Sensex climbed over 230 points to hit a fresh record high and almost touching  80,900. The NSE Nifty rallied over 74 points to hit a new all-time peak of 24,661. Earlier this morning, BSE Sensex opened by more than 160 points high to reach the 80,839 level and Nifty climbed 24,643, with the rise of over 50 points.
