In Asia Cup Women’s T20 Cricket, Hosts Sri Lanka defeated Malaysia by 144 runs in a group B match in Dambulla. Opting to bat after winning the toss, Sri Lanka posted 184 for the loss of four wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. In reply, Malaysia were bundled out for a mere 40 runs with just one ball to spare.
