The Three New Criminal Laws have been implemented on Monday (1st July 2024)  across the country to achieve a transformation in the criminal justice system and ensure delivery of timely justice. on Monday (1st July 2024), an event of launching three New Criminal Laws with a special awareness session has been organized at Police Station, Sector-17, Chandigarh. Rajeev Verma, Advisor to the Administrator was the Chief Guest during the function. Surendra Singh Yadav, DGP, Chandigarh and senior officers of chandigarh police and some prominent persons, members of RWA & MWA, Senior Citizens, Police Officials, public leaders were also present.
