Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry organizes ‘Samajik Adhikarita Shivirs’ across 74 locations nationwide

Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale says Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government is committed to the welfare of divyangjans. He was speaking after distributing aids and assistive devices for divyangjan in Beed district of Maharashtra. The programme was organised by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and Gopinath Munde Foundation. Mr. Athawale He said that more than 3,000 divyangjan will be benefitted today.
 
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment is organizing ‘Samajik Adhikarita Shivirs’ across 74 locations nationwide. These camps aim to distribute various types of assistive devices to over 47,000 pre-identified persons with disabilities and senior citizens under the Government of India's ADIP (Assistance to Divyang Persons for Purchase/Fitting of Aids and Appliances) and Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana schemes.
