As a result of the snowfall and hail, temperatures have dropped by 5 to 8 degrees Celsius. Additionally, hailstorms have caused damage to cash crops, including apples and wheat in several areas of the state. The Meteorological Department has predicted the possibility of rain and thunderstorms in the next 12 hours in seven districts of the state – Solan, Shimla, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Sirmaur, Una, and Mandi.
