In Jammu and Kashmir, the stage is set for the finals of Smart India Hackathon at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu and the excitement is at its peak for the event which is set to begin from tomorrow.
Thirty teams from across the country will compete to tackle critical cybersecurity challenges posed by the National Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Center. Three teams from IIT Jammu will also participate in this prestigious event, representing the institute at nodal centers in Karnataka, Delhi and Guwahati.
The 7th edition of this nationwide initiative, organised by the Ministry of Education, will be virtually inaugurated by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
With 51 nodal centres across India, IIT Jammu plays a key role in fostering innovation and problem-solving. Professor Manoj Kumar Gaur, Director, IIT Jammu said that he is very proud to host the Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon 2024 in Jammu.
