In Sierra Leone, at least eight people were killed after a seven-storey building collapsed in the capital city, Freetown. The National Disaster Management Agency said yesterday that six survivors have been rescued from the rubble, while many people remain trapped beneath the debris. According to media reports, the building was used for residential and commercial purposes. However, rescuers are continuing to search for more survivors.
