Shivraj Singh Chouhan & Bandi Sanjay Kumar assures all possible help to flood affected people in Khammam district

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has assured the Telangana state government that all possible assistance will be extended to rain affected areas in the state. He took stock of the situation along with the state Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Union Minister of state for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar at the state secretariat in Hyderabad a short while ago.

 

Earlier, the chief minister urged the centre to extend assistance by relaxing the NDRF rules and also on par with Andhra Pradesh.

 

The Central Ministers have assured flood affected people of all possible help in Khammam district. The ministers examined the breach to the Sagar Left canal at Paleru. They also visited farm fields in which crops were damaged due to floods.       Meanwhile, Met officials issued a Yellow alert of light to moderate rains likely in a few districts across the state for next two days.

 

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chowhan has assured all possible assistance to the rain-affected areas in Telangana beyond other considerations. He also assured people in Khammam especially affected people due to floods in Munneru of all assistance. He visited Rain affected areas in Khammam and other areas before reaching the Capital city, Hyderabad this afternoon. He took stock of the situation and gathered details of losses in various sectors. Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar is also accompanying him. He reviewed a photo exhibition set up in Hyderabad on the occasion.
