Shiv Sena (UBT) Announces List Of 17 Candidates For Lok Sabha Elections In Maharashtra

Shiv Sena (UBT) has announced a list of 17 candidates for Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra. Party has again given opportunity to its sitting MP Arvind Sawant from South Mumbai, Rajan Vichare from Thane, Vinayak Raut from Ratangiri-Sindhudurg, Omprakash Nimbalkar from Osmanabad and Sanjay Jadhav from Parbhani. But its alliance partner Congress has expressed displeasure over the announcement of candidates from Some of Mumbai’s Constituency and Sangli Seat. 
 
 
Akashvani Correspondent reports that in the last Loksabha election, Shivsena’s candidates won 18 Parliamentary seats. Uddhav Thackeray has re-fielded Chandrakant Khaire from Aurangabad, Sanjay Dina Patil from Mumbai North East and Anant Geete from Raigad, who lost from these constituencies in the last election. Party has announced candidature of Amol Kirtikar from Mumbai North West Constituency as his father and sitting MP Gajanan Kirtikar joined Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena. Party has succeeded to maintain its Mumbai South-Central, Nashik, Buldhana, Hingoli, Shirdi, Yavatmal-Washim and Maval seats, where sitting MP’s of Shivsena joined Shinde’s Party. Shivsena UBT also announced a Candidate in Sangli Loksabha Constituency.
