Domestic benchmark indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty opened marginally higher today. The NSE Nifty opened 15 points higher at 23,531, while the BSE Sensex opened 61 points up at 77,398.

Both the indices were trading at a day high, Sensex was up 285 points or 0.37 per cent at  77,623 while NIFTY gained 93 points or 0.4 per cent to trade at 23,609 when the reports last came in. Meanwhile, the BSE Midcap index added 0.5 per cent and the Smallcap index was up 1 per cent.
