Domestic benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty50, were trading down today as weak earnings and persistent foreign selling pressured investor sentiment. The 30-share BSE Sensex was trading down 333 points at 75,664, and the Nifty shed over half a percent at 22,840 when reports last came in.

Meanwhile, the broader indices at BSE took an even bigger hit. The midcap index dropped nearly 1 percent, while small caps plunged nearly 2 percent a short while ago.
