Sensex Nifty trades continue upward march in week’s first trading session

India’s equity benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty traded positively today, continuing their upward march in the week’s first trading session. Meanwhile, in the intra-day trade, both the indices touched fresh record highs.

 

At the closing bell, the Sensex, which is pack of 30 companies was up 194 points or 0.24 percent at 82,559. The Nifty50 ended the session at 25,273 with 0.15 percent or 37 points gain.

 

In the Global Crude Market, Brent Crude is trading 0.13 percent down at 76 dollar 83 cents per barrel, WTI Crude fell by 0.10 percent to trade at 73 dollars and 48 cents per barrel, when reports last came in.

 

In the Indian bullion market, the 24 karat gold is trading at 71,840 rupees for 10 grams, Silver 999 fine, is trading at 84,500 per one kilogram.
