Key domestic equity indices settle at record highs for consecutive 3rd session

Indian Equity Benchmark Indices Sensex and Nifty continuing to reach record breaking high since Friday, aided by Foreign Institutional Investors and the positive results from some of the Blue Chip Companies. In the broader market at the BSE, the Mid-Cap index down by 0.29 percent, while the Small-cap index up by 0.32 percent.

 

 

The BSE Sensex inched up 52 points, or 0.06 percent, to close at 80,717. The NSE Nifty up by 26 points, or 0.11 percent, to close at 24,613. In Nifty, 156 Companies hit their 52 week high, 15 hit their 52 week low.

 

 

In the forex market, Indian Rupee appreciate 3 Paise to Close at All-time high of 83.59 Against US Dollar.

 

 

In Multi Commodity Exchange, Gold prices were trading up on Tuesday. The precious metal, for August contract, was up by 0.41 percent and trading at 73,774 rupees per 10 grams, whereas Silver for September contract, was up by 0.57 percent and trading at 93,100 rupees per kilogram when the reports last came in.

 

 

In the Global Crude Market, Brent crude was down by 1.72 percent, to 83 dollars and 39 cents per barrel, when reports last came in.
