The benchmark domestic equity indices, Sensex and Nifty, were trading with modest losses in the afternoon trade today. Barring the information technology sector, all other major sectoral indices were witnessing selling pressure. The 30-share BSE Sensex shed 72 points to 75,925, and the NSE Nifty50 lost 51 points to 22,909 when reports last came in. The broader market at the Bombay Stock Exchange was also trading in negative territory. The Mid-Cap index slipped over 1.1 percent, and the Small-Cap index dropped over 2.4 percent a short while ago.
