Benchmark domestic equity indices, Sensex and Nifty, were trading mixed in the afternoon trade today. The 30-share BSE Sensex added 55 points, to 77,556, while NSE Nifty50 was marginally down by six points, to 23,502, when reports last came in.

The broader market at the Bombay Stock Exchange was also displaying mixed trends. The Mid-Cap index slipped over 0.3 percent and the Small-Cap index was slightly up over 0.1 percent, a short while ago.
