Domestic benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty, were trading higher in the afternoon trade today; Sensex is up 360 points and Nifty is above 24,800.

The Sensex was up 360 points, or 0.45 percent, at 81,367 and the Nifty was up 119 points, or 0.48 percent, at 24,869. About 1792 shares advanced, 2055 shares declined, and 124 shares unchanged.

The MidCap index was up 0.2 percent and the SmallCap index was trading down 0.2 percent when the reports last came in.
