Sensex and Nifty End 3-Day Losing Streak; Gold and Silver Prices Rise

The Indian benchmark indices broke a 3-day losing streak and ended higher with Nifty above 24,850. The Sensex added 218 points, or 0.2 percent, to close at 81,224, and the Nifty ended with a rise of 104 points, or 0.4 percent, to settle at 24,854. 

 

In the global crude market, Brent Crude was trading 0.26 percent up at 74 dollars and 64 cents per barrel, whereas WTI Crude was also gained 0.33 percent to trade at 70 dollars and 90 cents per barrel when the reports last came in.

 

In the Indian bullion market, the 24 Karat Gold was trading up at 77,760 rupees for 10 grams, and the and the Silver 999 fine, with a gain of 1100 rupees, is trading at 93,050 per one kilogram when reports last came in.
