Senior BJP leaders and Union Ministers held a meeting at the residence of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi on Tuesday. Union Minister Manohar Lal, Dharmendra Pradhan, Kiren Rijiju, Dr S Jaishankar and Chirag Paswan attended the meeting. The meeting is being held ahead of the upcoming Parliament session which is scheduled to start from 24th of June.

During the session, oath and affirmation of newly elected members and election of Lok Sabha Speaker will take place. President Droupadi Murmu’s address to the joint sitting of the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha and discussion on her address will also be held in the session. The session of Rajya Sabha will commence on 27th of June. The Parliament session will conclude on the 3rd of July.
