Senior BJP leader and Lok Sabha MP Ravi Shankar Prasad has hit out at Congress over an alleged remark by party leader Rahul Gandhi on ‘fighting the Indian state’ and accused him of undermining India’s national integrity. Speaking at a press conference in Delhi yesterday, Mr Prasad stated that as the leader of the opposition in Parliament, Mr Gandhi should be careful with his words. The BJP leader emphasized that the term “Indian state” refers to the constitutional identity of India as a free country, representing the President and other constitutional institutions and figures.
