Senior BJP leader Amit Shah addresses public meeting at Guraru in Bihar

Senior BJP leader Amit Shah alleged that Congress is indulging in politics of appeasement as it is again talking about the restoration of Muslim Personnel Law. Mr. Shah was addressing a public meeting at Guraru in the Gaya district. He also attacked Congress leaders alleging them of patronising appeasement politics. He said the BJP is talking about bringing a Uniform Civil Code (UCC) but Congress and its allies are opposing the scrapping of Article 370 and Triple Talaque.

The senior BJP leader said Congress can go to any lower level for vote politics and appeasement. Taking a swipe at RJD, he said it was against Ram Charit Manas. He also alleged that Congress and its allies vehemently opposed Ayodhya Ram Temple but the dream came true for the people of the country in Modi’s tenure. Mr. Shah said Bharat Ratna to Jananayak Karpoori Thakur was a long cherished demand of people of the backward society of Bihar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi fulfilled it. He mentioned that Lalu Prasad talked much about it but did nothing. He stressed that only Prime Minister Narendra Modi can lead India to the path of a developed country. Mr Shah alleged that partners of INDI Alliance are talking about the disintegration of the country in the South and North divide but leaders of Congress did not utter a single word against it. He said it is Prime Minister Modi who made the country much stronger and united.

NDA candidates from BJP Sushil Kumar Singh and Hindustani Awam Morcha Jitan Ram Manjhi were also present during the election meeting. Senior leaders of the NDA alliance including BJP, JD(U), Hindustani Awam Morcha, Rashtriya Lok Morcha and Rashtriya Lok Janashakti Party also attended the meeting.
